Since joining the firm in 2015, Mr. Crystal oversees all areas of the fiscal and fiduciary aspects of the organization. He is deeply involved with strategic planning decisions, investment opportunities, client communication as well as overseeing our human and technological resources. He is a graduate of Columbia University and has lived on multiple continents. He is an avid traveler and a bona fide foodie. Guaranteed that you will get a great restaurant recommendation from him.

ANDREW HIRSCH

ANDREW HIRSCH

The pair of Mr. Hirsch’s titles says a lot about his diverse abilities and extensive expertise. A skilled commercial real estate attorney, he has been the firm’s in-house legal counsel since 2002, structuring, negotiating and drafting contracts, leases and financing. He is also in charge of all capital projects and staff supervision. About a year ago, he became a devout vegan and made the rest of us question what we are eating.

TYRONE LOFTON

The firm’s loyal protector since 1993, Tyrone hails from Newark and is an emissary between our management department and tenants, monitoring any lease and occupancy defaults, enforcing full legal compliance with lease terms, and initiating litigation if necessary. He has a passion for art and music. He focuses on his charcoal drawings and playing guitar. His true joy is spending time with his son, an artist as well.

The quality that make Peter a successful broker is his professional, low-key, trustworthy manner. It has allowed him to build strong relationships in the commercial real estate community and with his clients. Another is his ability to think ahead in an ever-changing market and consistently reach the desired outcome. He has been a part of Bernstein’s team since 1990. Work aside, his great loves are his wife and daughter, music, cinema and golf. Especially golf.

Want to encounter a sincere, kind, and dedicated broker? Meet David, a man who embodies these qualities and who will remember your name. Since joining the firm in 2003, he instinctively knows how to find the perfect space for a prospective tenant and negotiate a fair lease. His degree from Brooklyn Law School comes in handy to bring his deals to a successful conclusion. David’s weekends are spent with his daughter and on the golf greens. He vacations to see his family in Florida.

A gentleman manager, Carmine handles the complexity of his portfolio with a calm demeanor and expertise that projects confidence.  At work every morning at 7 a.m. since 1998, his stay-close management style assures that the 10 buildings under his care, from operations to staff, run smoothly. Carmine takes his responsibilities very seriously, his dedication to his job second only to that of his wife and son.

JEFFREY COHEN

Since 2004, this master of moving parts has been coordinating the ins and outs of multiple commercial properties. Jeff monitors operations, maintenance and construction for a portfolio of properties while complying with financial budgets. NYU graduate Jeff is dedicated and close to his large family and travels to Israel as often as possible. He entertains the office with late-afternoon guitar playing and a love of music.

She has written, branded, advertised, publicized and named everything from fragrance to swimming pools for a varied roster of clients from Tiffany to RC Cola to Firestone Tire. Enid has been giving voice and image identity to Bernstein Real Estate since 1999. Her philosophy is that laughing is better than vitamins.

Lauren came to Bernstein Real Estate in 2017 with the goal of enhancing the tenant experience in innovative ways. She finds energy in meeting new people and taking on fresh projects. This communications expert is always ready to help. A history of world travels and experience in varied industries make her a go-to problem solver.

This Brooklyn born-and-bred has been overseeing the company’s accounting since 1997. Years of experience have made her well-equipped in handling tenant statements and balancing ledgers. This mom of one earned her degree from the New York City College of Technology. With more than 20 years with the company, the tenants are completely endeared to her. Odalys expresses genuine concern for them and sees to it that all her accounts are on point.

Do not be fooled by her sweet demeanor. Born and raised in Bronx, New York, Tiray earned her Accounting Degree from Herbert H. Lehmann College and worked as an Accounts Payable/Payroll Analyst for SL Green Realty Corp before joining the company in 2018. Tiray is a professional in unraveling complex accounting matters. She is a real team player and rapidly earned our tenants’ trust with her kind but authoritative voice.

LISA KITAIN

More than an Office Manager, Lisa applies organization and support to every office function. Her master’s degree in education and years as a teacher make her work look seamless as she calmly steps into any role to help her colleagues, from supplementing the accounting department to assisting the entire executive team, since she joined the company in 2013. She loves seeing Broadway Shows with her daughter and cuddling up to her pet Shih-Tzu-Maltese, Tali.

ADMINISTRATION

Abigail, dearly called “Abby” by her colleagues, has been with Bernstein Real Estate for almost 30 years. This New York native makes sure mail is delivered promptly and always with a genuine smile. She spreads her sunny disposition throughout the whole office. She loves anything Disney and going to Broadway shows.
