ANDREW S. HIRSCH, ESQ.
General Counsel
Mr. Hirsch is General Counsel to Bernstein Real Estate. His responsibilities include negotiating commercial leases and vendor contracts for the more than 25 commercial properties managed by Bernstein Real Estate, negotiating brokerage agreements and counseling property owners with respect to the many legal issues involved in real property ownership in New York. Additionally, Mr. Hirsch oversees the legal aspects of human resources with respect to the firm's staff and supervises outside counsel retained by the firm to handle specialized issues such as landlord/tenant litigation.
Mr. Hirsch is a graduate of New England School of Law in Boston, Massachusetts and is a member of the New York State Bar and Connecticut Bar, as well as a member of the New York State Bar Association. He attended Long Island University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in finance.
Mr. Hirsch has spent seventeen years devoted to the practice of real estate law in New York State thirteen of which have been primarily in New York City. His experiences prior to joining Bernstein Real Estate include the private practice of Real Property law in New York City as well as associations with well-respected law firms representing major real property owners and managers in and around the city area.
